  • Data Controller for candidate and company accounts.
  • Data Processor when handling company-provided candidate data under contract.

3. Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • Visitors of talenture.ai
  • Registered Candidates using talent tools or applying for jobs
  • Registered Companies posting vacancies or managing recruitment
  • All related AI and automation services offered through our platform

4. Data We Collect

4.1 Data Provided by You

  • Contact details (name, email, phone)
  • Professional data (CVs, skills, education, experience)
  • Job or candidate preferences
  • Company details, recruiter data, and job listings
  • Communications via chat, email, or forms

4.2 Automatically Collected Data

  • IP address and browser type
  • Device and log data
  • Platform interactions and performance analytics

4.3 Third-Party Data

With consent, we may enrich profiles with:

  • Public data (e.g., LinkedIn)
  • Assessment tools or integrations
  • Analytics or training feedback systems
  • Third-Party & Connected Accounts (Google & Microsoft).
    • With your consent, we may access data from Google (e.g., Calendar) and Microsoft (e.g., Calendar) to power user-facing features you choose (e.g., syncing calendars). We use Google/Microsoft user data only to provide or improve these features. We do not use Google or Microsoft user data to train AI models. We also do not use such data for targeted/personalized/retargeted/interest-based advertising; sell or provide it to data brokers or information resellers; assess credit-worthiness or lending; or create independent databases or profiles unrelated to the requested features. Access can be revoked at any time in your Google/Microsoft account settings.

We use personal data to deliver and enhance all Talenture services:

For Candidates

  • Create and maintain your talent profile
  • Provide job recommendations and learning insights
  • Deliver AI-based interview training and progress tracking

For Companies

  • Manage accounts and recruiter permissions
  • Post and distribute jobs across platforms
  • Receive candidate recommendations and analytics

For All Users

  • Secure the platform and improve services
  • Improve AI features using aggregated/anonymized platform data that excludes any data obtained from Google or Microsoft services.
  • Comply with legal and operational obligations

We never sell your data to third parties.

6. Legal Basis (GDPR Articles 6–9)

Processing is based on:

  • Contract performance — to deliver services you use.
  • Consent — for optional data (e.g., assessments, cookies).
  • Legitimate interest — improving AI systems, ensuring security.
  • Legal obligation — compliance with applicable laws.

7. AI Transparency

Talenture uses AI for matching, training, analytics, and process automation.
All systems are:

  • Human-supervised — final hiring or feedback decisions are made by people.
  • Fair and explainable — designed to minimize bias.
  • Transparent — users are notified when AI contributes to results.

You may request human intervention or contest automated outputs (GDPR Article 22).
Models are not trained on Google or Microsoft user data.

8. Your Rights

You have the following GDPR rights:

  • Access — obtain your data.
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restriction — limit processing.
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection — withdraw consent or oppose processing.

9. Data Sharing and Subprocessing

We share data only when necessary, and only with:

  • Authorized subprocessors (hosting, analytics, AI infrastructure).
  • Employers or recruiters linked to your applications.
  • Legal authorities, when required by law.

All subprocessors operate under GDPR-compliant DPAs.

Limits for Google/Microsoft user data. Subprocessors may process Google/Microsoft data solely to deliver the connected feature under GDPR-compliant DPAs. They are contractually prohibited from using such data for advertising, sale, profiling, or AI model training.

10. International Data Transfers

Data is stored within the EEA wherever possible.
If transferred outside, we use EU-approved safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

11. Data Retention

  • Candidate accounts: up to 24 months after inactivity (renewable by consent).
  • Company accounts: duration of contract + legal retention periods.
  • AI improvement data: aggregated/anonymized platform data excluding any Google/Microsoft user data; retained for statistical accuracy and safety testing. Individuals may request deletion as described in Section 8.

12. Security

We employ industry-standard security measures:

  • Encryption at rest and in transit
  • Access control and authentication
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability testing

13. Cookies

We use cookies for:

  • Session management
  • Analytics and service optimization
  • Personalized experiences

14. Children’s Data

Our platform is not intended for minors under 18.
