Senior Software Project Manager (End-to-End Ownership)

Job Requirements

• 5-10 years experience managing IT or technical projects end-to-end
• Ability to speak comfortably with engineers and understand APIs, systems, dependencies, and technical trade-offs
• Solid understanding of project fundamentals: scoping, planning, prioritization, risk management, and delivery tracking
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business, ops)
• Confidence using common PM tools (Jira, Confluence, Linear, Notion, Asana, etc.)
• Clear written and verbal communication, especially when things are unclear or going off track

Key Responsibilities

• Actively pull requirements out of stakeholders, even when they’re vague or half-baked
• Challenge unclear asks before they become expensive mistakes
• Turn messy ideas into clear, structured, deliverable plans
• Think one or two steps ahead and flag dependencies before they become blockers
• Ensure everyone knows what’s being built, why it’s being built, who owns what, and when it’s actually done
• Own the process, set expectations, and hold people accountable
• Make delivery predictable instead of reactive
